Karan Aujla

Karan Aujla is an Indian singer, lyricist, and rapper known for his work in Punjabi music.

Aujla hails from Ghurala, Punjab, India. His parents died when he was nine years old. He used to write songs as a hobby. He was discovered by Jassi Gill while singing a song Range in marriage and hence his career started. He got his Canadian permanent residentship and shifted there. Aujla started his career along with Deep Jandu. Besides Jandu, he has also worked with Jassi Gill, Elly Mangat, Gagan Kokri, Jazzy B, Bohemia, and Sukh-E. He has sung many popular Punjabi songs like Alcohol 2, Yaarian Ch Fikk, Shit Talk, Up & Down, Lafaafe and Don’t Worry. Apart from singing, Aujla has also written many Punjabi songs such as Blessings of Bapu, Unity, 90 Di Bandook, True Talk, Alcohol 2 and Scratch.

In 2019, he was engaged to his girlfriend Palak. That year, he also got a tattoo of his mother’s face on his right arm. He also has his father’s tattoo too on the same arm. In June 2019, news channels stated that Aujla was attacked in Surrey, Canada on 8 June 2019. Later, a Punjab-based gang took responsibility for the attack but later denied. On 9 June 2019, Aujla himself declared the news as rumor spread by news channels.
